Default Hey Burris guys, I have a question.

Can one of you Burris "insiders" confirm the weight of the XTRII 1-8. The website lists it at 24.5oz, but that seems heavy to me.

I'm hunting for a scope for the SAC, and wishing to keep the weight around 16oz. Leupold (I know, I know) has an interesting model in the Mark AR line that comes in at 15oz, but I'd much rather spend my money with the locals.

My WAC (Walking Adventure Challenge) suggestion:

From my experience, the shooting score would be unchanged, but overall placement would improve a couple notches.

    9mm - because they don't make a 9.1mm

Making it out of paracord is tactical AND lightweight, and ammo can be acquired from the range, saving several pounds.

For carbines any 1-4 or fixed 3.5-4 power would be good. For the precision rifle any 3.5-10 would work as well.

What about IOR scopes? They look like they have clear glass but I know nothing about them
