Default On this day in history

(Don't know if the link'll work after today) On this day, April 19th, 1775, the American Revolution began when the British sought to confiscate the colonists' weapons in Lexington.

And the gun grabbers better never forget it!

How can they forget something that hasn't been taught in schools for who knows how long.
IMO the only time one is taught anything in the school system about guns. It's how they were used to suppress people of color's rights.

Visited Concord years ago. I felt the energy of where the Shot Heard 'Round the World and basked in my freedom.

This is also the date of the Branch Davidian Compound that resulted in the fire (there were two raids). It's also the anniversary of the OK city bombing.

In more than a few Fed LE offices, the week of 14-21 April is know as domestic terrorist week. More crazy stuff happens this week in history than I want to think about. We as a country are very anniversary/date symbolic in our actions. Does make the crazy easier to predict.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

I cover some of these dates in the Appleseed stuff. History is awesome.
