    I don't think Prince was ever accused of phoning anything in. Every time I've seen his performances (never live) he's always seemed to be genuine.

    TAFKAP thing was kinda weird though.

    Yup I believe Sony owned the rights to all music published under "Prince". Changing his name was a loophole.
