I was never a huge fan but appreciated his talent-sure could play the guitar. Evidently viewed as quite the good guy in the music industry. RIP.

He had some real talent, a big influence in pop music , but some of his stuff is just too darn hard to dance to. He was a bit whacked but from what I hear a decent guy. Thoughts to the family.
I'm sure the Inquirer and media are tromping over each other to get the scoop and we will hear more than we want to for many years.
