CBI's new crime lab in Pueblo West is surrounded by marijuana greenhouses. I don't know how they keep the evidence from being contaminated. The smell is enough to get you high!

Our legal system is not a system of right and wrong. Only what can be proved, what can't, and most importantly, what can a prosecutor win or want to win.
There is no reason our current Justice would want to indict Hill, so the opinion is the risk of loss is too great and it is better to no try.

Some of this nonsense comes from all the damn CSI TV shows that have conditioned Americans to think that forensics is "science". Its largely not. Realize that even something as accepted as finger print analysis has no rigorous scientific study supporting its accuracy/reliability.
Also, there is no agency in this country whose reputation so greatly exceeds its actual competence like the FBI.

I've been trying to tell people this for years. I think the same goes for identifying which firearm a projectile was fired from. The logic behind these tests has never made sense to me at all.
