Wow...I'd be really nice to her for a while if I were you!

Hope the sense of humor means you're both feeling better and recovered/on your way to recovery.

Well RCCrawler, you jinxed me. Woke up yesterday morning at 2 AM with that unwelcome but familiar feeling. Took a couple of hours, but finally the pain had worked back to front and seemed like it was gonna drop, but then a second one started... then a third, then a fourth. Finally, about 2 PM, seemed like there was no more, so I hit the sack and tried to catch some ZZZs. Two hours later, after what can only be described fitful dozing, I realize that the the first one actually got stuck and the others were stacked behind it. So I decide to go to the ER.

Sure enough, that is exactly what happened. Admitted me last night, will have surgery tomorrow. Posting this from the hospital room. Kinda blew my 4th of July plans.

And yeah, this will mean more stents... Ugh!

At least the drugs are good!

Thats no good. I finally ended my 6 week ordeal on Thursday. Turns out the DR made me leave the one stent in an entire month after the surgery. That was no fun, pissed blood the entire time.

Right after ter he removed the stent he said I know you probably don't want to hear this but we should probably do surgery again soon. Aparently he couldn't get into my right kidney because my tube is full of scar tissue from passing so many stones. The tube was only 1mm. That was the reason he put a big tube in and left it for a month, to get the tube back stretched out.

I I told him we'll wait a bit on another surgery.

Hopefully everything goes goes well for you.

Looks like I may be heading into a similar ordeal. Has surgery this morning, doc said 90% chance of success. Well guess I hit my inside straight draw, because I fell into that 10% so it was a worthless surgery. They did succeed at getting a stent in, of course it's the kind I have to have removed the hard way. And yes, every bathroom event results in me pissing razor blades right now. At least I got to go home, so there's that.

Glad your ordeal is done with (for now) RCCrawler.

Glad you're home, take it easy for a while. That damn stent will let you know when you are trying to do too much.

Damn that sucks, hopefully they don't milk ya too bad. I don't blame ya, I had two CM9's and regret selling both of them, probably the best single stack pocket 9's out there.

They gave me flowmax problem is when you have a 4-5mm stone and a few more smaller ones behind it, and only a 1mm tube it ain't gonna pass.

Hopefully my tube is bigger now though and I can just pass them in the future.
