This is what happens when you remove actual competition and replace it with participation. When you remove rewards and honors and ranking. Their brains are looking for 'competition' and haven't had any during it's entire growth period. This creates a void that is usually filled with the Joy of Victory and the Agony of Defeat. They need to fill this void but were taught that this void is meant to be filled with unicorns and fairytales. Now, they need an outlet and with the sensitivity training they've received their brains are confused as how to express these feelings and what these feelings are actually about.

Drinking the cool aid is a voluntary action and not every millennial has swallowed deeply. I am concerned for the younger adults who have stepped up and shouldered the responsibility of citizenship and service. These are the men and women who are being ill served by their commanders, politicians, and our President. Many of the progressive leadership would like to crush these hard working young adults and force them to join their snowflake pitty party. We should do what we can to see that this doesn't happen.
