Default Is it still an 1911 if it's a 9mm?

Interesting product, looks kinda cool, and I love BCM and all. But when I read the email, my initial gut reaction was "that can't be a 1911 if it's 9mm".

Not sure if it's a question or just an observation, but I forgot whatever it else it was I came here to post in the first place, so you got this instead... LOL.

Sadly my midget (little person) thumbs stop me from buying a 1911 (can't work work the slide lock), not the end of the world I guess.

Who cares. It's an obsolete design that's over a hundred years old.

Ok time to fess up. The only reason i picked up a 9mm 1911.... Magazine capacity. The thought of even 10 rounds of lethalality at my fingertips, .......

If i could score a single shot 9mm i'd be in. No matter how hard i look all i can find are Glocks. The thought of a plastic single shot, eeeewwwww
