    Default BGC after moving.

We somewhat recently moved and went through the online process of updating our address with the DMV but they just tell you to write your new address on the back of your license.

What else do I need to bring with me to complete the BGC? It's actually my wife and she's not on the mortgage or titles to the vehicles so those are out.

    Thanks in advance.

I was slacking on updating my address with the DMV. I just carried a copy of my car registration with me and that worked for all BGC's.

    +1 easiest...

Gov issued doc with your current. I learned after driving to rifle to pick up my barrett about them not taking the label... since then when I move I get a new license.

Just lie and fill out the 4473 with whatever address it shows on your current drivers license.

    This has worked for me.

    Question I have:
Is a U.S. passport with the current address a valid ID for a check?

That happened to me a while back. A lower was ready for me just days after I moved into my house.

The fastest solution for me was driving to the dmv and getting my car registration updated then going back to finish the transfer.

Only had an issue at one shop last time I moved. They looked at my ccw card and they were happy. With that said my current address was written on the back of the drivers license.

Thanks for the help guys. The main issue was the my wife isn't on the vehicle registrations or the mortgage and no new fishing / hunting licenses since we moved. Luckily she's on the title so the tax doc from the county did the trick.

I would have done the BGC but we were using points and the Cabela's club card is in her name so I wasn't sure how it would go over if I did the BGC and she paid. ;-)
