    500 bucks. Best money I ever spent, that was discounted though because I word at the FRONTIER they were showing it at. Got a ride in a P51 and a thunderbolt? I think, the one with two engines. Awesome job, pay sucked.

    That "whistling" sound is one of the intake scoops or the open gun ports. Not all of them make that noise.

    If I were a pilot, my top 3 aircraft to fly would be the P-51D, P-38 and F4U Corsair. I understand the Corsair also "howled" in a way that scared the bejeezus out of the Japanese.

    It was the oil coolers at the kink of the wings.

    I'd love to fly/own a P-38, a P-40 and/or a Hawker Hurricane.

    Yeah, P-47D should have been on my list, but I forgot. I'd prefer a razorback model
