I wouldn't flinch at taking some shrapnel, but I could see a brand new shooter freaking the F out about it. It's unfortunate that you had to deal with all that stuff. Glad everyone was ultimately okay.

I always look and assess every individual in every lane before I step into mine. I'm checking for basic safe gun handling and body language while on the line. I'm responsible for my own safety and I take it seriously. I hope she's ok which it sounds like.

I don't shoot indoors often at all. Are ricochets and shrapnel problems common? A couple comments in the thread sound like it happens more than rarely...
