Detaining other shooters at a range after an AD?
FIL is at 5280. Guess someone got shot in the arm. News at 11? But wierd thing is i guess they told wife everyone there is being kept there......? Wondering if someone shot into another stall vs an accidental self inflicted.
Interesting. Are the cops holding them or 5280?

Man. That's sucks. For everyone.
Guess allegedly which i don't know if true. Chick got it in arm and chest. They took photos of everyone's front and back who were on the range i imagine to compare to video. No other details
Interesting. Hope everyone is okay. I don't even like taking ricochets while at the range, can't imagine being between muzzle and target.

.45 ACP has "Stopping Power" that's what matters to me!!!!
9mm will go through the intruder and though my walls and strike a bystander in their home or driving by in a car!

The police investigating a crime may legally detain those persons they believe may be witnesses. The four factors used to determine the legality of the detention of witnesses are:
1) the seriousness of the crime witnessed,
(2) the nature of the information the witness can reasonably expect to provide,
(3) the level of proof that the witness can provide,
(4) whether there are less intrusive methods to obtain the same information.
Safety at the scene is always paramount so don't expect to be interviewed right away if they police are still looking for the shooter(s).
