I'm one of those people that believes no gun is ever to far gone to not still have a purpose in life. All guns are a form of art to me. If I ever found a gun that was absolutely in such bad shape that function was out of the question I would make something out of it. I would likely build a floor lamp out of an old long gun. But that's just me and it would go with the decor of one of the rooms in my house.
If you are afraid to give it away depending on the condition of the stock I might even pay you something for it, plus I have a C&R license.

LOL. To make sure our site admins stay happy, and since a couple of you guys live in my neck of the woods, I'll offer to transfer this for you for free if you want. You still pay the $6 to CBI though.
(You can always call ATF and drop it off too. If you're lucky, you can even invite them over - they love making house calls, LOL)

I was just going to suggest making it into a lamp, but got beat to the punch.
