Dumb question, what's the story with all those pellets? Do they degrade, or just end up leaving little bits of plastic everywhere? Need to know if I could shoot this in my backyard, or if I should climb the fence to my neighbor's first...

They make biodegradable pellets in several colors. They cost more that the non-biodegradable pellets but they are still cheap.
