So, needing to get a shorter stock for a Remington 870. Can't decide on which route to go.
The Magpul SGA is ugly as sin but the first time I handled a shotgun that had one it felt awesome. Although, at $90 it's a tad pricey.
The Hogue overmold stock is priced better and has a more traditional look to it but I've never been a fan of things with rubber coatings on them and would prefer plain old plastic construction.
I'm not sure about some of the pistol grip style stocks. Seems most of them are kind of hokey and the ones with the AR buffer tubes and stocks look to have poor angles and ergonomics. Of all of them, the Mesa Tactical Urbino looks the most useable but, like the Magpul, is pretty spendy.
Thoughts? Opinions? Amusing antidotes?
