Since Walmart parking lots are RV friendly, that'd be fun to set up in the parking lot.

It's an easy $80k cheaper than an earth roamer. The ol lady's gonna retire soon. She's been eye balling the roamers, but way out of our 1% lifestyle. This is cheaper than a winnebagel, AND.....a much higher cool factor.mmmmm

The pop up camper on that thing is 21 years old, and would almost certainly have issues unless the 1995 date is a typo.

2000 mile range, huh? Driving that thing 2000 miles would be about as much fun as a root canal with no anesthetic. I'm assuming there's no stereo system in the cab because you won't be able to hear it anyway.

I had a military CUCV blazer with a stereo system. Extra insulation was added to help with noise reduction. Even at max volume there were times I couldn't hear the radio at all.

And that M1009 was not a true "military vehicle" but was a commercial Blazer that had been modified for military use. IOW it was considerably more luxurious and comfortable than a vehicle like the M900 series which was designed from the ground up to go to the military.

The math says that thing will be getting over 18 mpg, which I find difficult to believe.

I"m pretty impressed with what he's showing in the pictures. I"m kind of curious how it gets a 2000 mile range with a 110 gallon tank ... I was kind of thinking more like 200 miles ... LOL

Ad of course, as a 1989 model truck, it shouldn't have any of those fancy electronic doodads that let the gubmint track your travels (if that's of concern).

If I had a place to park something like that, it would be really fun to think about ...
