    Absolutely this... I personally have not found a chassis I like. I've tried the XLR stuff, AICS, JAE, etc. I settled on a Grayboe Renegade from Gunstox.com, which happens to be based in Bailey, CO. It is an exact copy of the Mcmillan A5, except injection molded fiberglass, and costs $349 shipped. Only available for Rem700 short and long actions right now, but they're working on Savage and Tikka models as well.

    Mine are badger extra-high 34mm (not the ultra high) 1.375". I also have Mark IV extra high 34mm on another carbon (1.4"). Take that with a grain of salt because they are 34mm rings for 56mm objectives with caps. I would guess a 1.2"+/- would get you there, but measure for yourself.
