We just returned home from the balmy French Riviera and woke to 33 degrees and big flakes of falling snow. The hummingbirds were loving it.
A visitor eyeing me this morning from just outside the electric fence around the house.

Our usual hummingbirds decided not to stick around this summer... kind of a bummer. I wonder if its because its still so cool, odd because its almost july.

The COAR "Frog Lady". Sounds better than "Toad Lady".
Those are cool. We get these really big toads around here. They make huge toad logs. I thought is was goose poop first time I saw it.
