Ya know, I thought it would be more humid here, too. It's not. It's 105 with 19% humidity right now. Check out that dewpoint...probably won't see a temp that low til Oct or Nov.

This is one of the guys that lives in the tiny swamp by the A/C. Gus loves to chase them around the yard.

And the heats just keep on comin'... Luckily with the breeze it only feels like 106. Too hot for the local wildlife.

Wow that's impressive, I had no idea Oklahoma got that hot, the only thing I ever heard weather wise was humidity, tornadoes, and ice storms lol.

I may have gotten a little carried away this past week in pursuit of four fish. The "WY Cutt Slam" (https://wgfd.wyo.gov/Fishing-and-Boating/Cutt-Slam) was mentioned by a friend and I immediately knew I had to complete that before I could get on with my life.

I think this link allows toggling through even if you aren't on Instagram (there's 13 images at the link):

A male-female pair of American Three-toed Woodpeckers have been visiting the yard lately, working on beetle infested Englemann spruce trees. These are high altitude, high latitude birds in North America. They are sparsely distributed and highly sought after by birders. While most birds have four toes, three front and one back, these birds have three toes with two in front and one in back.

    Here's the adult male:

The turkeys finally made it back around the hood.

Couple toms and hens with babies that immediately darted into tall grass.
