My airstream has been stolen by dopers
13/10.
Tiger Swallowtail about to pupate. Why it's orange instead of green. Still nifty.

Don't wanna get shot by the police?
"Stop Resisting Arrest!"
That could be a memorable once in a lifetime ride.
No chance for pics but was cool to see a cow elk along with nice herd of deer in the meadow north of Harmony Sporthorses on Elbert Rd. Always enjoy seeing elk on or near the plains.
Many deer, antelope and turkeys along Elbert Rd from Kiowa to Hwy 24 yesterday. Reba barked at all she saw.
Mrs bo saw her first "bloody rack" on a trophy size 5 pt buck crossing the road at Peaceful Valley.
All the animals looked very healthy.
The snow storm has brought a number of interesting birds around the house. This morning a Blue Jay joined the local Steller's Jays. We will sometimes see Blue Jay or two in May and September. Also this morning was this Band-tailed Pigeon. They are a native mountain pigeon that mostly nest in ponderosa pine and Douglas fir, and not so much in the higher elevation Englemann spruce and sub alpine fir.
The Steller's Jay in the pics is a juvenile that is in distress and not doing well. The puffed up feathers are a sign of cold and stress. It's unusual for these hardy mountain birds.

Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.
