Yeah I'll take "shit that didn't happen" for $500.

"Gang initiation" I thought gangs were still flashing their headlights at you andmurdering you if you flash back? When did they switch to home invasion/rape/murder/arson?

This sounds like a story my neighbor would tell me. I bet if I reviewed all the emails from him that I've deleted without reading, this story is in there somewhere.

    I disagree and agree.

Anyone with a pen can write propaganda to rally an agreeing base. I don't see why anyone would fabricate this kind of story, but I don't understand why anyone would fabricate a story with an anti-gun objective, either. And yet, there a ton of them out there. People lie and embellish all the time when they deeply believe something and get a creative spark that ends up in the point of a pen. That old wretch Hillary was dodging sniper fire a while back. And her purpose for that lie was to pander to a sympathetic base. Sure, there are good lessons to learn from this story, but a lie is a lie.

With nothing to corroborate this tale, it is simply that - a tale. Regardless, if it is true, I wish for the best of this anonymous family.

My wife and I now still have a hard time sleeping, but are doing fine with our now three girls.

Nothing new for a self-proclaimed 'severe' insomniac, but the author thought to mention this anyway. Perhaps he was just being generous and using a form of inclusion to represent the suffering he took in on behalf of his restless wife.

I'm taking this story with a grain of salt.

    No, nothing strange there.

What struck me as strange was him mentioning his insomnia at the start of the story and then closing it out with him and his wife having a hard time sleeping at night.
