    Default Pawnee/Baker Draw Shooting Changes

    http://www.reporterherald.com/lifest...nated-shooting

"Due to the difficulty of removing small-sized lead from dirt berms, shotguns will no longer be allowed at the Baker Draw Designated Shooting Area on the Pawnee National Grassland as of June 1, according to a press release.Shotguns will still be allowed for dispersed shooting on the grassland as long as safe shooting rules and regulations are followed.
Shooters also are being asked to use approved targets at the area.
For safety reasons, shooters also are asked to disperse themselves while shooting, and to have a map of the area, as much of the Pawnee National Grassland is intermixed with private land, to confirm they are on the Pawnee National Grassland in an area not closed to recreational shooting and that they have a safe backstop."
