    Default Old Craftsman tool box

Not perfect but compared to the rusty mess it was. Click image for larger version.

The Craftsman of today would kill for a toolbox that looked that good. Alas, those days are gone forever.

I still have mine from when I started racing Karts about 12. It is covered in stickers. :-)

Come on, Jerry. That box isn't that old. 1960's maybe? Heck, might even be from the 70's.

From my online research early 60's. It was one of the Turquoise hammertone ones. Click image for larger version.

Oh, and with a little work it would make a pretty cool mailbox.

No mailbox! This was my father in laws toolbox. Jerry graciously took on the task of restoring it. It's going to my son for his tools and a memory of his grandfather he can (hopefully) pass down to his kids.

Jerry, you did an amazing job! It looks beautiful. I can hardly wait to give it to my son with the Craftsman tools I bought for him for Christmas. I'm also going to include that "before" picture in the toolbox too.

Sorry. Didn't realize this was a family heirloom.

    Disregard my mailbox idea.
