    Default No quite so new member

    So I joined ages ago with the intent of buying an AR-15, however I finally bought one

    I went in for a Rock River Entry Tactical and came out with a Colt 6920.

    Went up to the North Site this morning to zero it. If you're ever up there and its sunny and you see a bald guy remind him to wear his hat! In all the excitement I forgot to and dang is my head red!

    I am always forgetting my damn hat too. You'd think that as long as I've been bald...

    Welcome back. How many rounds did it take you to sight her in? My DoubleStar with a Larue BUIS took me one shot to sight in at 100 yards. I was shooting at an avergae fist size apple and first shot tagged it and decided if I can hit the apple at 100 yards, I will be just fine. I was really pleased with both the AR and the BUIS. The BUIS needed no adjustment out of the box. Link below is for the BUIS.

    Took about 20 rounds but I'm still not 100% happy with the zero. But thats probably more to do with being out of practice.
