Not as much internally for our java issues, most any current version seems to be ok. It's all the outside vendors/agencies we deal with. I was just told that we need to use a .66 version of java to access a service? WTH. We're behind the times and using .91 version. I can't go back to .66 version.
ugh.
Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.
I switched to Mac computers a few years ago. No problems at all. Never going back to Microsoft.
Of course you can.

Download the x86 offline version (you are using x86 java and not x64 right?) and install it into a different directory.
Using java control panel, you can select which versions are active, default.

Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."
My friends and I had no issues with 10. For whatever reason both of my parents computers have the same issues with kinda of a crash on boot or something. It's allegedly a semi widespread issue? I blame them having shitty Mcaffee or something.
What it does is check the update box for the Windows 10 upgrade itself, even if you have Windows Update set to require that you approve all updates. Then the next shutdown cycle installs Windows 10 without your explicit approval. This has happened twice already for my office computers and I had to back out the update manually. Which itself screws up your computer. Microsoft are arrogant little pricks.

Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".
