So I bought an ice maker for my wife that makes the "Sonic" nugget ice. Really looking forward to it. Because I don't feel comfortable with cabinet work, I hired some professionals come out and do the install, and overall they seemed like good guys who mostly knew what they were doing.
However, it's sticking out quite a bit, and the more I'm looking at it, the more I think I need to get it fixed. They said the water lines stick straight out behind the unit and we have to be super careful about not kinking or otherwise messing with the lines to avoid leaks. But this seems excessive, right? It's flush mounted with the unit face, but the door sticks out quite a bit. Anybody have any experience with adjusting the water lines somehow? It's a Scotsman SCN60PA1SS if that helps...
I'm pretty sure all that white is supposed to be hidden inside the cabinet.
I was hoping to avoid pulling it out to mess with it myself but I'm not sure I'm going to be happy with it as it stands.
