PE Gun Shows
Anybody ever been to their shows in Longmont and Loveland? How does it compare in terms of average price at the Tanner show in Denver? I'm mainly looking for rifles.

I'll take you entrance fee and point you in the right direction. IMO today's gun shows are for handling a gun you have an interest in. Then seeing if the LGS is selling it cheaper than an internet supplier.
I'm a proponent of LGS support. However it's more for i want it now / impulse buys..

At least my tag is unmolested
The PE Shows in Loveland used to be OK but I only take a newbie who would be intimidated by Tanner to them.

Almost all of the gunshow stuff is overpriced... Way overpriced.
But then again you find some diamonds in the rough. Usually its a part I need; I don't think I've ever bought a gun from a gun show.

Oh, and the PE shows are not even close in size to Tanner... In fact, if you're used to Tanner then you will be very disappointed in PE shows.

I usually catch every other one at Loveland, after 1:00 on Sunday and some of the vendors will deal. I have seen some asking prices lower than local shops. It is a good way to spend two or three hours on Sunday afternoon (I usually shoot on Mondays to avoid crowds).
