    Default F@*K Microsoft...

    Windows 10 is malware, pure and simple. I have just spent the last 3 days resurrecting my dad's computer after it "upgraded" itself, and became unbootable. Not only that, but it broke pretty much every driver on the machine to the point where Win7 became a total PITA to reinstall(broken video driver, broken chipset driver, broken USB driver, etc.). Fortunately, I found a fix, and it is now smoothly running Win 7 Ultimate. Now I get to reinstall all his software and return his machine to service.

    I've installed this on all the machines here at the office.

    We have way too much old hardware and software here that we depend on for our livelihoods to risk having Windows 10 mess things up.

    Thanks. Need to install never 10.

    One of the computers at work did that forced update, one that runs the electronic locks and security cameras. ...nothing but issues.

    For those not familiar with this problem, the Microsoft Windows 10 "update" will override your Windows Update settings. Even if you have the setting requiring update to get your permission for each update, Windows 10 will "check" itself for installation and it will install without your explicit permission.
