    Default "The Hurt Locker"

This movie has been way under the radar for some reason ? Iraq based war movie about the bomb tech's who deal with IED'S. Limited theater release-saw it yesterday in Louisville at Colony Square at 11:40 a.m. for $4. Would recommend it to my fellow COAR's.

Funny you should mention this, as we just watched it last night!
I thought it was a pretty good movie. Better than the other one we watched-"Idiocracy". I still don't know what to think of that one.
Any rate, I like some parts that seemed true to form-like when he gives his mask to the fellow behind the wall (don't worry-you won't see it coming). All in all a movie worth watching. But I still like aliens vs. monsters better, lol.

I have never heard of it. Sounds like a great movie to see. Should be all over the TV IMHO

I have heard lots of good things about this movie. But mostly from my lib film school buddies. I wasn't sure if it was some left wing propaganda movie or not. I will definitely have to check it out now.

Really? I thought Hurt Locker was alright. Not amazing and a few scenes made it borderline annoying. It was quite predictable and not very true to life which I would have liked to have seen.

Idiocracy is HILARIOUS! One of my favorite movies and I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it because pretty much everyone I talk to loved it.

Thought it was alright. Not something to consider overly factual or demonstrative of reality. It had some interesting facets that reminded me of baracks life, but there was a need for suspension of disbelief.

Now if you want to catch a couple of good flicks that haven't gotten a lot of media face timetry these:

    The Moon and Carrier
