    Default Sportsmans guide

I was just informed over the phone that they won't be sending the m-7 bayonet that I ordered, because I live in Colorado! She mentioned Columbine twice in our conversation. And said they are adding Colorado to their restricted list from a lawyers advice!

I soo wanted to tell her to GFY! And tell her she deserves Al Frankin.

    official response...

    Dear Steve,

    Thank you for your email.

We have placed restrictions on specific items listed in our catalog and our web site.

Due to the various state, county and municipal laws that exist, we are not always able to comply with each individual guideline.

Not all of the restrictions are based on laws on the books, but could be a company decision based on other particular concerns. These may include whether the state has law suits pending involving weapon owners and recent court decisions that may affect businesses like ours.

Also, it may be that the states' laws are so vague that they could be interpreted unfavorably in the event a court action was ever involved.

Due to the length of this item, it is considered a weapon, and ownership is viewed as a criminal offense in your state.

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
If you have any questions, please contact us.

This just means I will no longer be skimming Gary's web-site for used Dutch tube-socks!

they been pulling that crap for years, if its over 3.5 inches long they wont ship it to co. I just have it shipped to one of my workers that lives in new mexico, and pick it up when I go down there, or have him bring it to me when he is up here.
