Default How do you get rid of an old car? (Colorado Springs)

Never been faced with this problem before. 1991 Ford Explorer. Technically, it runs. Realistically, it doesn't. So let's just say it needs to be towed away. It's currently sitting at my house.

One charity I called told me I need to get it appraised first (which I'd have to pay for). The appraisal would probably cost about the same as the car's worth.

    Suggestions?

Craigslist, then donate some money to charity if you want.

Or buy a gun, or parts, or ammo, or reloading goodies, or.....

It may not be worth the trouble for you to fix it, but it is to SOMEBODY! Sell it, and it'll be on the road in a week. Or parts of it will be.

Our grandson wrecked two cheap hoopties, and I wish I'd had the patience to Craigslist them instead of selling them to scrappers for $50.
