    Default IT'S BAAAAAACK !

This is a follow up on my raccoon thread from a few days ago, the the dumb a$$ raccoon came back and got trapped again in the same basement window well.

City of Aurora Animal control is worthless, called them this morning after there posted opening hour, 0900 hrs. They didn't answer the phone, and as of this post hasn't returned the call from the message left.
I wonder if this would be their response to a vicious dog call ?

I ended up calling someone from the link a member posted in the last thread. They will be out tomorrow to capture & relocate the raccoon.

Just tell them it's a vicious rabid pit... they'll be there quickly along with LEO to shoot it.

It's a baby. You should keep it as a vicious hissing pet.

Raccoons are wildlife, not the responsibility of municipal animal control--they do dogs and cats. You could call CPW but my suggestion is to simply put a board, a post, or a 2x4 or 4x4 down into the well long enough for the critter to crawl out. Leave it alone and it will leave at night. Do not put yourself into the position to get bit or you'll be looking at distemper or rabies shots.

I've caught dozens of raccoons. They look cute but are very fast can be vicious. Give it a way out and it'll go away.

To Skip : That is/was this weekend's homeowner's chores along with cutting the grass and so on.

To Hummer : I gave it a way out, but it came back. So now it will be captured by someone that deals with urban wildlife & relocated far far away.
