    Default Tan Surefire weaponlights?

Does anyone know why Surefire stopped offering their lights in tan/fde? I think a M300 in tan would be a great addition if I end up keeping my carbine but see they're discontinued. I guess perhaps they weren't big sellers? Just thinking here, curious about it.

Lack of sales. Consolidation of stock and parts. And the biggie was they anodized them. Anodized FDE just looks like some off-key jankey gold paint and looks even worse after lots of UV exposure.

Most that would really use an FDE light are those that would tape it off and hit that shit with alum-a-hyde too. I know that's what I did.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

Anyone that thinks war is good is ignorant. Anyone that thinks war isn't needed is stupid.

That makes sense. Your description of painting is exactly what my son and his guys did.
