Haircuts: Let's Lighten Things Up

One of the reasons I stopped patronizing the local barber shop after my barber died.

It's not that the other barbers couldn't do a decent enough job, although never REALLY quite as good as she did, but most of them took FOREVER, espcially the OWNER of the joint, and I could only put up with the shit that came out of their mouths for so long.

Yup, in and out, and I'm not much of a barber shop talker either.

I always chit chat, it's the polite thing that ordinary people do and it passes the time, but if the person cutting my hair has to stop cutting to talk, I STFU.

LOL. She's not the most talkative either.

For every one of those we had a person that REALLY appreciated a little non gossipy peace though.

I remember getting a haircut there several years ago! Seems I had Mexican food for lunch nearby too. And IIRC you had a nice old Springfield '03 I had the lust for, but someone had already laid claim to it.

Ah, the good old days, when I worked all over the freakin' state.....
