    Default MP5 SBR

I was thinking about submitting one more form 1 for an MP5 SBR before 41F. Anyone see a decent quality MP5 clone on the shelf locally? I'd buy an Omega barreled upper from Atlantic Firearms but I haven't been able to get an answer out of them on whether they can provide me a serial number when I purchase the upper so I can get the eForm submitted. I think I'd like to go with an 8.8 inch barrel full size clone.

Machine Gun Tours had a Zenith, like an MP5K. I think it was one of these http://zenithfirearms.com/product/z-5k-pistol/

MKE/Zenith is the way to go. I have 2 of them (5RS and 5P). As far as on the shelf? I had to order mine in. I have seem one on the shelf here in the Springs but that shop is so over priced I wouldn't even think about buying from them.

You must be talking about FF? I'd never buy from them. I may have to order in, I'd just need to get it from somewhere that will give me the serial number right away. I really like the Omega from Atlantic because it is already 922r compliant.

I'd take a contract gun over a US made one. I have both the MKE and POF variants. IMHO they're both equal in function and build quality. The MKE does have a nicer paint job and comes with more accessories, but it also costs more. If you don't care about a hard case, optics mount and cleaning kit, I think the POF is the better deal. Good luck getting one locally for a price you're willing to pay.

They have quite the reputation Lol.

The first one I got I picked up from a small home based dealer in Castle Rock. Great guy but when I tried to order the second one 6 months later he just didn't seem that interested and after trying for a several weeks I gave up and ordered it from Kelly Enterprises (they had a sale going on at the time). He shipped the entire package with all accessories to my FFL. They aren't on sale any more unfortunately.

Triggertime has a few of them that are already registered SBRs.

Atlanticfirearms.com has a bunch of clones for sale, often in stock. They'd probably help you out with the serial #.

The only difference between now and the 13th is submitting prints and photos. Little late to the pre 41F rush

I've got a bunch of form 1s in but decided I'd like an hk clone as well. It's not too late until the 13th, lol
