Saker maad problem

So I had trouble with the maad mount before but added oil and it would come off and on really easy. Fast forward to today (I have not shot it so it has no carbon build up) and I can't get it to unlock and the body of the saker just unscrewed, FML!!! So I'm done messing with it added oil and when I get it off it's going to get serviced at silencerco, this is a problem with the maad mount and hope they fix it!

Let us know how it will work for you after it gets back.
I have my saker still in jail but it should be out pretty soon I hope, so would be good to know what to expect when using it.

I managed to get two MAAD mounts stuck but this took care of them.

Thanks sand but the problem was getting it to unlock when already mounted. I had to use some channel locks and grab the ring right under the top ring that ratchet. I will be calling silencerco today and let you guys know what they say.

So I just called silencerco and they are going to send me a new one and have me send the old one back. They said my top ring of the mount should not spin freely like mine is. Really easy to talk to and get help glad they have good customer service.

Some more infor not that anyone is interested, but should be impressed with customer service. My second MAAD mount wasn't any better the suppressor would stil spin off and just got tired of fighting it, so I called silencerco yesterday and told them my problem and that I would like to switch it to the asr maad mount the said sure, but wait I have 3 brakes/ flash hiders that I can't use cause they are not compatible no problem they employee says send it in and will swap it out too! I was really impressed with the customer service for sure I had to pay for shipping and insurance but so what saved me the head and heartache for sure. Thanks silencerco even if you didn't make the top of the line cans I'd still buy from you based on customer service!

Thanks for sharing, just had my saker out for the first time. I might go the same way if I see any mount issues.
How do you like the ASR mounting system?

I just sent it in Tuesday and they should have gotten it Thursday so I'm hoping to get it Monday or Tuesday. A friends friend has a saker and has never had one problem with his maad mount and he switches it between 10 ar. I hope you got a good one and you never have an issue, it's always been my luck to get the lemons.

I got my asr mount and my brakes/ flash hider except one but they are sending it out today. I like it better than maad mount the locking ring is a little harder to lock down than I expected, but it's a good thing so it won't loosen. Now I just have to change my handguard for my sbr build.
