    Default Shot placement is key

The Washington shooter used a .22 and killed 5 people while the Houston attorney shot 6 people with a .45ACP and no one died or us expected to.

According to my neighbor, he carries a .45 ACP because even if he misses and hits them in the arm, they're going down and will at least be out of the fight.

Sounds like your neighbor is a white male over 60 years old.

Not to take away from "shot placement," but these cases are not quite the same and all the facts are not yet out.

Anyone have a link that states the type of gun used in Burlington? I've only read of speculation based on the original pic.
I've read that some of those "shot" in Houston were actually missed and hit by flying glass in their cars.
Also, the news reports I've read state the Burlington shooter took shots at 7:30 and police did not let EMTs into the mall until 8:30. There is also the question of how many shots did each victim sustain in Burlington?

It has been confirmed in many reports and by PD that it was a Ruger 10/22 with a 25 round magazine. It is not debatable.

Dad always says, "A hit with a .25 is better than a miss with a .45." I was giving him crap about an old worn Colt .25 he carried in his pocket in an old change purse. At least he had it on him...
