    Default Temporary Boulder County Shooting Ban

    USFS enacts temporary shooting ban in Boulder County

    Posted on July 11, 2016 - 11:30 am
    The U.S. Forest Service has temporarily banned recreational shooting on forest service lands in Boulder County in support of the firefighting efforts and dry weather. No shooting is allowed until further notice.

    Temporary restrictions due to fire conditions are fine. It's when temporary quietly becomes permanent do we have an issue.

    I'm betting it's for the safety of the transients in Gregory Gulch and West Mag. There are some POed people up here and these half wits have worn out their welcome.

    Good, run em out with pitch forks and torches, I was pissed the last time I drove thru there, and I'm not even a resident.

    There has to be a way to distinguish between somebody recreationally camping and what these shitbags are doing.

    Way back when, the authorities plowed over a bunch of hippy camps in Nederland and the surrounding areas. Too bad it will never happen again.
