What muzzle devices do you use?

Looking for something a little more quiet for the people next to me. Hell, I can feel the blast every time a round is fired. Normally I wouldn't care, but just trying to be respectful to others.

Then you don't want a brake at all. Get a suppressor ... For everyone else of course


or a compensator that directs the blast forward not out

In this case I went for the psych-them-out intimidation factor. It does tend to throw flames a bit too.

I hear if you get a good brake that tames the massive recoil of 5.56 one might not develop PTSD after shooting the poodle shooter. The press corps might want to make note of that.
