    Default Carbine choices

I am now 65 and my eyes will soon be operated on so I will have distance vision, but not reading without glasses. So I am not going to be using M1s with peep sights very much. To get light weight and the ability to use optics/red dot I was considering the Ruger AR556 or the S&W sport II. I want a factory gun, not a parts gun. I hope to keep the price in the $650 range.
    Your opinions please.
What store would be the recommended one to use?

Best to call around and see who has what you want in stock. Danger_Lee is in elizabeth.
With Hilary getting a pass from the feds. I'd be surprised if there's any under $700 AR's in stock.
