I this case it wasn't my car. Don't really want to drive from Denver to Park City with a pistol on my seat, feel like that'd be annoying. In my car I'd have used the door pocket, they were full of junk in this car. In the end it worked out and I think it's a lesson about how respect out gets respect in.

Pistols slide around on seats, happens just before you need them. The infamous Miami shoot out, taught the FBI such things.

I've had something similar happen in downtown Denver. Once I showed my permit and said I was carrying I was asked what type of pistol and then the officer said have a nice day and walked back to his car.

We know you have a holster since you posted about CCW and the rest room. How come it wasn't in riding in the holster?

Maybe he's like the rest of us fat asses and isn't comfortable sitting in a vehicle on a long road trip carrying it on his person.

We can't all be skinny and healthy you know. Oh, wait. Yes we could. But that would mean eating right and exercising and who wants to do that?

Jeeze, it's only a holster. If I'd have suggested wearing a fanny pack while driving, I'd understand.

When I read the title, I thought "where do they give tickets for having a pistol?"

This wasn't my CCW which I didn't have with me on this trip. I flew out (yes I know I can fly with my ccw) and didn't want to bother bringing the CCW. My GF drove out and wanted to have something around just in case for the long dirve. She actually stored the pistol in the glove box. I don't have a holster for this pistol but you've made me want one now. Thanks dude!

I'm fairly confident that I've been let out of two tickets due to informing the officer that I was armed. It's not something I bank on but I'll take it.
