Well, it seems some Democrats learn now and then -- and that was one of the hallmarks of the Reagan presidency:

You mean the collective inaction by the GOP after gaining control of the entirety of Congress hasn't put them on the path to destruction? The only thing they've stopped that the Dems have put up has been the latest gun control BS. So much for standing their ground... I'd say give Trump a chance to at least stave off total disaster until 2020. I think the cliff would be unavoidable if Hitlery gets elected. Remember, SCOTUS, I'd rather neither, but if I had to choose who picks the next justice(s), I'll take Trump any day over the other choice- And let's be perfectly honest, there are only two viable candidates.

It's probably a moot point anyway. We're headed for an economic collapse in mid to late 2018 that is going to make the last one look like a boom. Regardless of who is signing the bills, it's gonna be ugly. Think about this: we already have national debt vastly greater than our GDP, mortgage rates and other interest rates are at all time lows, and the banks are lending money hand over fist trying to keep the housing market afloat, at the behest of the Federal Reserve, because if we stop spending money we don't have on shit we don't need, the economy will implode at a rate and magnitude that will truly boggle the mind. I've not yet decided who I'm going to vote for, but it damn sure won't be Hillary, and likely won't be Trump either. It's like trying to decide what incurable cancer you'd like to die from.

It's more frustrating than you describe. It's like trying to decide which CURABLE cancer you'd like to die from.

Your heart is in the right place, but to say that the future outlook you are describing is over simplified would be the understatement of a life time. It's not over simplified out of malice, ignorance, or an attempt to deceive, but nonetheless it is over simplified.

P.S. No one hold your breath for some detailed explanation or rebuttal from me. I don't have the mental acuity to outwardly express what I mean. Total cop out, I know.
