Yes it's hot as shit, people are cranky too!
Change your filter and wash out the outdoor unit!
Can't afford central air this year and won't go into cc debt for it (my house has never had it so need all the plumbing and bigger amp panel). Broke down and got a window unit for the master bedroom so at least one room is cool.
It's nice in Divide. Currently a balmy 66°.
Agree, have had 4 people in my life go off on me today, I hit my breaking point and told them all off, tired of everything I've sacrificed for them without asking or expecting anything in return except for the gratitude they'd show a stranger. F'in people piss me off some days. Too damn hot to enjoy being on the bike, shut down my phone for the weekend so I can ignore those jerks. Arrggghhh, I'll blame it on the weather.
I'll just hang in the one semi-cool room of the house and surf the net before dinner.
Wait, can I blame it on the media, politicians, blm and everything else besides people being assholes??!!!![]()

I got the central air on and a window swamp cooler.

No AC or anything right now, currently 86 in my house![]()
I have a couple of fans but they just move the hot air around. Life is pretty damn miserable at my house right now
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that - George Carlin
This thread reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode: The Midnight Sun, where it's so hot, but in reality it was someone freezing to death dreaming.
Kinda ironic. Really do have sun at midnight here and it's gotta be pushing 68 degrees right now.
Not quite that warm here. It's kinda funny. Our house in Bailey, at 8500', got much warmer in the summertime than our house here does even though on average it's much hotter here. Even on low triple digit days the upstairs doesn't get much higher than 80 to 82 and the lower level will be in the low 70s. But, we have AC here...didn't in Bailey. And electricity is relatively cheap here so I run that AC like it's free.

71 on the main floor, cooler than that in the basement. I'll pay the electric bill to not be any crankier than I usually am...and the people in my life like it that way.![]()
