All that story does is inspire me to run over a biker. I have owned and rode bikes my whole live, but stopping traffic and being an ass in the middle of the highway does not help anybody’s cause. However unlikely, there may have actually been people stuck on the highway that had a life and some place to be.

No matter how much they want it, the world does not revolve around them. Regardless of how good they are at riding a scooter, a younger dumber and more full of cum idiot always shows up to prove there’s always somebody braver (dumber).

Wonder if they got trophies for participating as little kids and told their whole lives how special they were. As a life long motorcyclist (well, 48 years so far anyway) that attention getting bs just pisses me off. I generally ride alone or with no more than 4 other riders. Never in a big pack with riders I don't know because as already mentioned the unknown level of riding experience or "dickheadedness" is not worth it to me.

As we saw in France, a vehicle can be a very effective weapon. Just like a gun, knife, or claw hammer, a vehicle is a tool that can be used in a number of helpful and harmful ways.

Back in my yoot I had 2-3 riding buddies and we rode together like fighter pilots in formation, nearly always in perfect synch, instinctively doing the same thing at the same time. Nowadays, I prefer to stay the hell away from everybody else.

I saw some Hell's Angels doing this yesterday and it was impressive. They rode in a tight formation and when the lead guy made sure there was enough room for a lane change for all of them, he'd go, and the rest would instantly follow. The guys in back wouldn't even look to make sure it was clear, because they were trusting to the lead to have made sure there was room. It looked pretty impressive and was very effective because they'd make lightning quick lane changes before traffic could change around them. Looked like a school of fish or a flock of birds. Doubly impressive when you see humans do it.

I wasn't going to go all the way there.

*I don't know anything about bikers to make that judgement call. If I didn't make this disclaimer, Bert would have shown up and made it for me.

I do ride in groups at times and there is always restrictions or rules while riding in the groups. I'll say I ride a internationally built lazy boy because their are no bikes made only in America. EVERY PERSON that was riding careless should pay the price in that group. For what ever department that aloud this to continue, do your damn job and take about an hour and get on Youtube, you can get all the plate numbers you would like. I was riding with a group from Kansas and two guys where asked not to ride with us because they were pressuring the other riders and thought because they had badges from another state that they could do 70 going up 285 in the canyons, they later complained at are camp that they were ticketed by CSP. they got what they had coming to them. If the " investigators " would do there job in Denver they wouldn't need a press release to find these rode stains.
