The ammunition quantity is still correct. As far as suppressors go: in the past, we have allowed the use of suppressors as long as we have not had issues with the timers picking up the shot. For the most part, this has never been a problem with rifles shooting 5.56mm but it may be problematic if the competitor is shooting subsonic 300AAC or 9mm ammunition. Ultimately, the decision is up to the Match Director (Matt H.). Saturday's is going to be his first time as MD for this event. As you can imagine, he has his hands full with running this match while making it both safe and fun.

I will take a stab at it and tell you to bring the suppressor with you but please don't be dissapointed if Matt makes the decision to say "no-go" to suppressors. Like I said before, the ultimate authority on equipment restrictions resides with him.

I look forward to seeing you at the range on Saturday!!

Thanks Cy! One more question, how many mags do you recommend bringing? I just finished my AR yesterday after not having one for a few years and want to make sure I bring all the right gear. I've been doing a few pistol competitions lately but this will be my first rifle comp.

Bring at least two 30 rounders (more is better). I always bring 4 loaded forty rounders and' that way, I do not have to worry about loading magazines while at the range.
