Cancelled. There is snow on the ground and it is cold and snowing now. No sun expected, so the berms will be muddy, thus NO vehicles allowed on berms.

    Sorry, but cancelled for tomorrow.

    Action Rifle Shooters,
    Some updates regarding match.
    • Scoring - This is a volunteer sport and we need people who can run the scoring nooks. If you're not familiar with PractiScore, take 15 minutes and watch this tutorial on youtube.
    • Match equipment - This is a rifle match, no pistols while competing.
    • Staging table protocol
The staging table is for bagging and unbagging of rifle. It's likely there will not be space on the table for everyone to store their rifle at the same time. Use racks or keep rifles bagged and off table to give the current shooter and on-deck shooter space to get ready. If your rifle is too hot to bag after stage, use rack or table but bag it and move when possible.
Tables are intentionally placed against side berm to prevent of sweeping others during bagging & unbagging. No one should be between table and side berm.
    • Trash - Just like in the wilderness, "Pack it in, pack it out". CRC has limited trash service and it's expensive. The trash barrels on the berms have been removed as they blow over resulting in trash distributed over the county. The lath barrels should also not be used for trash.

    See you at the match!
    Matthew

Is the range going to dry out in time for tomorrow's match?

Is this the match that is labelled "Action Rifle" in the CRCI website calendar for June 2?
I'll stop buying black rifles when my wife stops buying black shoes.

Yes, that's the one. We had to change the name of the event but the rules and scoring are the same.

    IN.

Out of curiosity, does 22lr count for PCC? Or does it need to be centerfire?

.22LR is not PCC. It will be hard, if not impossible for the RO to call hits on the longer steel. If that is all you have, ask Matt and he might let you shoot for no-score.

Yep, there may be some challenges but we'll try to work it out.

I'm set for tomorrow. Thinking more of getting my daughter into it and a way to transition her in. Thanks for the accommodations.
