Neo's is gone and was a freaking landmark in my opinion. Also loved the Whistle Stop for breakfast. Now gone.
I'm not that old, but Ned is deep in my family roots. Have had a cabin there since 1953. When my family came to Colorado from Italy they established a lumber camp in Toland. Still own the land. Ned was a major part of my childhood. Back when the rock shop was a dinky grocery store. The town has changed a LOT. And not for the better.
A few weeks ago I had lunch at The Last Shot down toward central city. Pretty dang fast burger and the lady that served us was really fun and nice.
