    Yeah, if Glock didn't bother for the gen4 by now, seriously doesn't look like they'd do it for a gen 5 for the same reasons.

    My understanding is the only mags change is the floor plate.

    Eh. Still pretty much looks like a Glock.

    Wonder why they eliminated the pin for the lock block?

    Best guess so far is due to the redesign of that area for the ambi slide lock lever. And that Glock 42 and 43's don't have them either.
