looks like where I was elk hunting this weekend... same forest, different location... i'll post some pictures when I get them back from wally world - probably tomorrow...

you don't need a heep to get to a lot of parts of whiteriver nf... many many people in areas with normal cars and suv's. some roads require real heeps... but not all...

Parts of it certainly are, I was looking for a low stress drive, we were scouting for a new elk hunting camp site for Octobers 1st season elk hunt.

This is a hell of a lot steeper than it looks.

I found some funky plants up there too

Oh Man! Ya look good on that Horse, sir. That must be super fun. I have only lived a few years in Colorado and I realize that even though I go hiking quite often that I could possibly never run out of awesome places to go in this state.

    Thanks for sharing,

    RR

Isn't Radical hill on the other side or Red Cone pass?

If so there is no way in hell a caddy went up from the Red Cone side!

I'm sure they came up from Montezuma saw alot of Subaru's over there and I know they didn't do Red Cone.

However we saw Great Grandpaw and Grandmaw and their little poodle in a bone stock Grand Cherokee coming down off of Red Cone.
