Dillon 650 camming pin issue

I'm having problems with the camming pin sliding on the case insert slide. I have adjusted it according to the manual lubed it with grease and nothing seems to work. It's actually wearing a grove into the slide and it's a new slide.

Short of buying the roller upgrade and suggestions??

You'll get some wear from the rod, back it off a turn and see what happens. These presses do have wear items. I have the roller upgrade on one and stock items on another, there's still some wear with the roller.
